A Little Birdie Told Me...

I just finished this cute little shabby chic tag. I thought it would be a nice addition to my new Etsy store. This little guy has been stamped and embossed with a light pink embossing powder. Since I just LOVE using vintage ephemera, I added as much as I could! Creamy buttons and true pink fabric were added for texture - along with a few yummy paper flowers. I also experimented with a new stitch (sorta leafy - appropriate I figured :o) ) which connects the vintage music paper to the tag.

Back in the Swing of Things...Puddle Jumper

Yay!! I finally finished my April themed layout. The piecings in this layout were hand drawn and cut with many different layers and textures. I incorporated fabric into this one. I also did a few "tear" piecings as well. The picture above shows how you can add your own photos to my designs. The picture was taken by good friends of ours - they are brilliant photographers. Wow....has it been long!

I can't believe it has been almost a MONTH since my last post! Spring break came and went rather quickly this year...then Easter. I have been busy rearranging my scrapbook nook to access items more easily. I also took a trip to Ikea and got a few organization goodies! I will be taking pictures and giving tips on how I organize....I hope to be done soon!

Currently, I am working on an April Showers layout. I hope to have it done by midweek! Wish me luck!!
