Valentine Minis

I am popping in for a little hello and to share with you a few "minis" that have captured my heart -and tummy. So many new things coming your way from Crafty Secrets that I can't wait to share - but you will have to wait a little bit longer!

While I was organizing, I went through a few of my beautiful paper collections and came across one that I haven't touched yet. Even though it is not as new as some other papers,
Sugar Rush by Basic Grey was the perfect palate for this little mini chipboard album.

Both of these images (above and below) are a little peek from one Crafty Secrets upcoming surprises. I was able to alter the image to allow it to match my color pallete perfectly! You can find out more about these digi images from Sandy HERE.

Measuring only 6x6 and chock full of goodies, this lil' guy doesn't really "close", but stands up nice and tall and sturdy. I used quite a few yummies from Crafty Secrets like the
Angel Blessings acrylic stamps, Vintage Photos double sided Creative Scraps, and Birds and Blossoms double sided Creative Scraps. Now for some edible "minis" sure to melt in your mouth and tummy...

Peanutty Valentine Cookies (from Very Best Baking)

Ingredients

  • 36 NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Hearts, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

BEAT granulated sugar, brown sugar, butter and peanut butter in large mixer bowl until combined; beat in egg and vanilla extract. Beat in flour and baking soda.

DROP dough by rounded tablespoon into ungreased mini-muffin cups.

BAKE for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven; gently press 1 Nestlé Heart into each cup. Cool in pans on wire racks for at least 10 minutes. Remove cookies from muffin cups with a butter knife. Serve warm or cool completely on wire racks. Makes 36 cookies.

Hope these minis inspire and fill you up!

xoxo
